Casino Crime Round Up: Woman Kidnapped from Casino, Injured in Crash
An accident occurred earlier this month when a lady was abducted by her ex-boyfriend in Washington State's Tulalip Resort Casino, according to authorities.
According to press sources, the 37-year-old suspect, who has not been identified, faces charges of first-degree kidnapping, second-degree murder, DUI possession of a stolen vehicle, and fourth-degree domestic violence assault.
When they were both in the casino on April 11, he pushed the 35-year-old victim into his pickup truck, according to Washington State TV station KOMO. He apparently gave her a headshot as well.
According to police investigations, the suspect texted on April 10 and said, "I'm beating her alive, I'm going to skin her alive."
Police stated he was angry that she was ending their relationship.
He is accused of hitting her in the left arm with a metal canister on April 10 as well. That day, he managed to avoid the cops.
Police were informed about the kidnapping the following day.
Officers started pursuing the suspect's truck as soon as they saw it near Everett, Washington.
The guy was able to outdrive the police at one point. The pursuit was eventually picked up by police when they found the truck close to the Mukilteo Speedway.
The suspect then started traveling south on State Route 525 in Lynnwood, Washington's northbound lanes. That's when he struck a GMC Yukon with the vehicle. The Yukon's driver, 83-year-old Trudy Slanger, perished in the crash.
Leg Broken by Victim
Both the abduction victim and the suspect sustained injuries in the collision. They were both sent to emergency departments. The suspect suffered severe injuries. Harborview Medical Center provided him with care. Afterwards, he was registered at the Snohomish County Prison. According to reports, the abducted victim shattered his leg.
Authorities found that the individual was the subject of outstanding arrest warrants. These charges include unauthorized possession of a firearm, first-degree assault with a weapon, and possession of a controlled substance with intent.
It was discovered that the pickup vehicle was taken in March from Bothell, Washington, by The News Tribune, a local news source.

An Ohio father was taken into custody on Saturday after it was claimed that he had left his 10-month-old daughter unattended in a car in the Cleveland parking garage of Jack Casino.
According to Ohio TV station WOIO, the girl was left alone in the car for over ninety minutes when her father, Elyria resident Kyle Miller, 27, entered the casino.
Around 10 p.m., a person who was strolling in the garage noticed the baby and called the police.
An EMT team evaluated the infant. It didn't seem like she had any illnesses. She was checked out at a nearby hospital as well. Following her examination, she was given to family members.
Miller was taken into custody by authorities on Saturday night. WOIO stated that he was going to face charges related to endangering minors and tampering with evidence.
